Success of KBSU students at the competition “My Legislative Initiative”
A team of students from the Institute of Law, Economics and Finance of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov showed an excellent result by taking part in the XVIII All-Russian competition for youth of educational and scientific organizations for the best work “My Legislative Initiative”.
Competitive works prepared by 3rd and 4th year students of the Jurisprudence major Alina Murzakanova, Kamilla Berbekova, Salim Khamukov, Kristina Kertieva-Farmanyants, Dayana Khasanova and Tembolat Bambasirov successfully passed the examination within the correspondence round.
On October 10, at the Congress Center of the Cosmos Group of Companies (Moscow), an in-person defense of the work took place before the competition commissions — expert councils.
The medal “The Future of Russian Science” and a 1st degree diploma in the direction of “Integration” were awarded to the work “Ensuring the legal status of teaching staff in the regional legislation of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic” by Alina Murzakanova.
Berbekova Kamilla won a 1st degree diploma in the direction of “Social Policy” for the competitive project “Problems of Employment of Disabled People.” The 1st degree diploma was awarded to the work “On the improvement of federal legislation in the field of ensuring the safety of tourists” by Salim Khamukov (direction — “Nation building and constitutional rights of citizens”).
Also in the direction of “State building and constitutional rights of citizens”, 2nd degree diplomas were awarded to the works “Modern problems of providing qualified legal assistance” by Kristina Kertieva-Farmanyants, “Territorial representation of deputies of the State Duma: why a deputy should belong to the area that he represents” by Dayana Khasanova and Tembolat Bambasirov, containing legislative initiatives in solving the problems of providing qualified legal assistance and territorial representation of deputies of the State Duma.
For preparing laureates and prize-winners of the All-Russian youth competition of educational and scientific organizations for the best work “My Legislative Initiative,” the scientific director of the IPEiF KBSU team, associate professor of the department of constitutional and administrative law, Lyubov Satushieva, was awarded a diploma.
Letters of gratitude for assistance in preparing students were sent to the acting director. Rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov and Director of IPEiF KBSU Elena Mashukova.
Alina Murzakanova shared her impressions of participating in the competition:
In my opinion, participation in such competitions is necessary for the diversified development of an individual, gaining new interesting experience and making one’s small contribution to the further development of the Motherland.
I proposed a bill to consolidate the legal status of teaching staff in the regional legislation of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. This topic is always relevant, and the thematic Year of the Teacher and Mentor in the Russian Federation is an excellent opportunity to promote this topic for discussion. I am very glad that the expert commission of the All-Russian competition highly appreciated my proposal, noting my work with a 1st degree diploma in the direction of “Regional Legislation” and a medal “The Future of Russian Science.
Lyubov Satushieva emphasized:
As the scientific supervisor of IPIEF students, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the leadership of KBSU for providing our students with the opportunity to participate in competitions of this level, where they can show a creative approach, reveal their potential and make proposals for the development of the legislative process not only at the regional level, but also at the Russian level.
Let us note that the All-Russian competition “My Legislative Initiative” is an event for active citizens aged 14 to 30 years who strive for legislative activity.
The organizer of the competition is the all-Russian public organization “National System for the Development of Scientific, Creative and Innovative Activities of Youth of Russia “Integration”.
The main goal of the competition is to attract young people to public administration through their participation in legislative activities, identification, selection and support of promising projects for the preparation of legislative initiatives in the following areas:
state building and constitutional rights of citizens;
economic policy;
social politics;
education, science, healthcare and culture;
budget, tax and financial legislation;
defense and security;
youth policy;
energy policy;
regional legislation.
