KBSU has become the only platform in the republic for taking a comprehensive exam for migrants
According to the new regulations, which came into force on May 1, Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov became the only platform in the republic for conducting a comprehensive exam for migrants in the Russian language, history and fundamentals of Russian legislation. This decision was made by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in order to increase the transparency and reliability of the examinations.
The discussion of the implementation of this mechanism in the North Caucasus Federal District took place via videoconference. It was noted that the North Caucasus Federal University will be the base center for organizing such tests. After successfully passing the exam, KBSU will issue migrants with an appropriate certificate.
KBSU Rector Yuri Altudov noted the importance of cooperation between federal and regional authorities with universities:
This is necessary to achieve the goals set by the President of the Russian Federation — attracting foreign citizens to the country who respect the laws and traditions of Russia.
Yuri Altudov emphasized that the university has all the necessary resources to conduct such tests. For migrants, the exam is an important step for sociocultural and linguistic adaptation on the territory of the Russian Federation.
