Congratulations to Academician Akchurin on his 75th birthday!

April 2, 2021 marks the 75th anniversary of a member of the KBSU Board of Trustees, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Renat Akchurin.

Renat Suleimanovich — Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Institute of Clinical Cardiology named after A.L. Myasnikov of the Russian Cardiological Research and Production Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, head of the state program for the development of high-tech medicine.

An authoritative specialist who develops unique directions in reconstructive, vascular and cardiac surgery, at the end of 20I6, he became a member of the Board of Trustees of KBSU, highly appreciated the level of technical equipment of the medical faculty.

With the assistance of academician R.S. Akchurin, three departments work at the medical faculty of KBSU, scientific and practical conferences are held with the participation of Russian and foreign specialists.

Having started his career as a district therapist, Renat Akchurin, thanks to hard work, reached heights in the profession, the essence of which is to start the most complex mechanism in the Universe — the heart, give hope for recovery and prolong the life of many patients.

Residents of Kabardino-Balkaria, organizers of medical education, health care workers of the republic are grateful to the leading Russian cardiac surgeon for participating in the development of medicine and training qualified personnel in our region.
