The delegation of KBSU took part in the project and analytical session on the study of big data

On September 14-15, the project team of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov took part in a project-analytical session for universities of the North Caucasus Federal District, organized on the basis of the technopark of the Chechen State University by the Consortium of Big Data Researchers and Tomsk State University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The project-analytical session was attended by teams of leading Russian universities of the North Caucasus Federal District, experts from TSU, HSE, Vyatka State University, and the National Agency for the Development of Qualifications. Kabardino-Balkarian State University was represented by Timur Aramisov, Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Competences, Albina Shibzuhova, Specialist of the Department of Educational Quality Management, Madina Lafisheva, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, and Julietta Krymshokalova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computer Technologies and Information Security.

The design and analysis session was built in two thematic tracks.

The first one is “Designing University Centers for Applied Data Analysis”, aimed at implementing a cycle of activities to solve priority research and applied problems, train personnel and develop data infrastructure at the university. University teams, together with experts, identified the main goals for the development of universities, assessed the current state of the data infrastructure in order to form a plan for attracting resources. Preliminary roadmaps of projects (science, education, management) were drawn up, the development of which will become a priority within the framework of the creation of the Center for Applied Data Analysis.

The second track is “Designing a quality management system for educational outcomes based on data”, aimed at presenting resources and tools for managing the quality of higher education. Within the framework of the session, the experts presented the contours of the restructuring of the national higher education system in the context of the “post-Bologna” transformation and collected proposals from the university community of the North Caucasus Federal District on solving urgent problems in the development of the higher education system.
