The university was among the 60 universities-winners of the competition, which was held as part of the federal project «University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform».

Universities with experience in the development of technological entrepreneurship could take part in the selection, on the basis of which “Boiling Points” are already functioning. The Russian government will finance the creation of 60 technological co-working spaces at universities — entrepreneurial “Boiling Points”, where at least 1 thousand people will work, implement business projects and study. Student teams will be able to receive methodological support and advice from NTI Platform specialists and other experts in the field of technological entrepreneurship, as well as find investors for their projects.

“Entrepreneurial Boiling Points are platforms where each university representative can assemble a team to implement a project, gain expertise in professional communities, find partners or investors across the country on the topic of technological entrepreneurship. They will be launched on the basis of the existing university Boiling Points. One of the objectives of these platforms will be to involve students in technological entrepreneurship and attract investors to student projects.

Director of the Department for Support of NTI Projects and Continuing Education of KBSU Tanzilya Mahieva noted:

«Since 2019, Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, together with University 2035 and the Higher School of Economics, is a member of the Evidence-Based Digitalization for Student Success consortium. The main goal of the consortium is the analytical support of digitalization for student success and the adoption of sound and effective management decisions based on data. The most important thing here is that all our students are registered and leave their digital footprints. Digital footprints are preparation for entering the labor market. Universities create new services based on digital data and form an individual career path for students, but with different diagnostic elements. If it is directly related to entrepreneurship, then cognitive competencies are indicated. This is how the quality of graduates is determined.

The Leader-id system has a formed digital competence profile. Employers at the federal level search for employees in a digital unified system by selecting the competencies and skills they need. The system will show those graduates who are most suitable for employers. Regardless of the nation, social status, etc. If a student or graduate is suitable for the employer, then he is sent a link for an internal interview, after which the applicant is included in the personnel reserve. A lot of students thus get a job not only in their region, but also in other subjects of the Russian Federation.

This is done with the aim of becoming self-employed, building your own startups, with the prospect of building a new economy, a new labor market for young people. That is, it is primarily the identification of future entrepreneurs.

Students are immediately immersed in the entrepreneurial field. If we invite them to take part in another federal project, they go there prepared. Thus, the training platform is a kind of pre-accelerator. We have about 17 industrial partners to carry out the acceleration program. These are several departments, ministries, as well as the business sector, which supported us very much and provided letters of guarantee that our students will be given the opportunity to undergo practical training, internships with a view to possible further employment».
