How unboring it is to implement the state youth policy, KBSU students were shown in Novosibirsk

3 unforgettable days in the Educational Park named after O. Koshevoy in the city of Novosibirsk was held by a team of KBSU students who took part in the District Student Forum of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University (NSPU) «Organization of work with youth — PROFI». From November 10 to November 13, the forum was attended by students studying in the direction of training «Organization of work with youth» from universities in 9 regions of Russia: Altai Territory, Kemerovo Region, Sverdlovsk Region, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Novosibirsk Region, Lipetsk Region, Republic of Bashkortostan, Yaroslavl region and Tomsk region. The purpose of the Forum is to develop cross-professional skills necessary for high-quality professional activities in organizing work with youth. Our region was represented by students and masters of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov in the direction of «Organization of work with youth»: Alim Bakhov, Ismail Dzhangulanov, Aznaur Tatarov, Beslan Chechenov and Eldar Sarbashev.

Over the course of three days, participants and their mentors developed creative, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, trained interpersonal and business communication skills, attended open lectures and workshops from leading experts, shared knowledge and experience with each other at project and facilitation sessions. At the project sessions, ideas were voiced on the development of modern youth centers in universities, their information and methodological support, development within open space centers, which will combine co-working spaces, libraries, creative and leisure facilities.

The leisure part of the program included a number of cultural events: the creation of creative business cards, participation in the Elementary quiz from the team of the Sodruzhestvo youth center, the Storytelling space, where participants shared their stories in the Stand-up format, PowerPoint party ” – a format in which students prepared short PowerPoint presentations on topics that excite young people and defend them in front of the rest. The children shared their experiences.

“It was great — a great experience of effective communication in an informal setting! We managed to improve our skills in self-organization and team building, we saw useful cases from experts. We met cool guys who study in the same areas as us, I’m sure we will continue to communicate — to consult with each other, to continue some educational and business projects together. Many thanks to the organizers of the forum for this opportunity,” — shared the forum participant, KBSU student Eldar Sarbashev.

Kabardino-Balkan State University named after H.M. Berbekov is one of the leading universities of the North Caucasus Federal District, actively implementing all areas of the Federal Law «On Youth Policy in the Russian Federation» and one of the first in the Caucasus to open the direction «Organization of work with youth», due to the increased relevance and demand for specialists in the implementation of state youth policy . The activity of the university was also noted in the activities of our guys at the forum. The organizer of the District Forum «ORM-PROFI» is Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. The forum was held with a grant from the All-Russian competition of youth projects among educational organizations of higher education (Rosmolodezh.Grants).
