Employees of KBSU are participants of the All-Russian round table on issues of digitalization of universities

November 10-11, 2022 in Sochi, in the village. Sirius, representatives of 52 universities and 3 colleges from different regions of Russia in the framework of the XX All-Russian round table «Digitalization of a modern educational institution», organized by the Competence Center for Digitalization of Educational Organizations at St. Petersburg State University of Technology, shared their experience in the most relevant areas of digitalization. Among them are employees of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov Timur Aramisov, director of the Center for Sustainable Development, and Pavel Korotkov, deputy head of the educational policy department.

“The round table was dedicated to the digital development of higher, secondary vocational and additional professional education, as well as the management of educational, economic and scientific activities using IT technologies. For our university, digitalization involves individual learning paths, the use of new and promising technologies for adaptive learning, the digitalization of university management, improving the quality of distance learning, and introducing more digital components into the educational and scientific process.

The implementation of such an ambitious task — digital transformation — is of particular importance for KBSU as a participant in the Priority 2030 program aimed at helping to increase the university’s contribution to achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030, balanced spatial development of the country, ensuring the availability of quality higher education «, — said the director of the Center for Sustainable Development Timur Aramisov.

During the round table meeting, the participants discussed various and relevant topics. The following issues became key: modern concepts, trends and approaches in the informatization of an educational institution, the development of e-learning; experience in organizing the educational process in an electronic environment and designing online courses; experience in passing inspections of information systems according to the requirements of regulators, practical aspects of preparation and experience in passing accreditation; experience of using domestic software for digitalization of management of economic, educational and scientific activities of a modern university, technical solutions for automating the work of an educational organization; issues of information security in information systems of an educational organization; automated construction of curricula, formation of teaching load, distribution of teaching load among teachers.
