Competence Center of the Presidential Platform «Russia — a Land of Opportunities» at KBSU

Director of the Department for Supporting NTI Projects and Continuous Education of KBSU Tanzilya Makhieva and analyst of the department Anna Konovalova presented the main goals and objectives of the center being created to the leadership of the ANO.
“The Competence Center is a place where students will be helped to assess and develop their cross-professional skills, build individual development trajectories, form a digital profile and open access to it for employers,” — said Tanzilya Makhieva. – The main tasks of the KBSU Competence Center also include the development and implementation of joint tools for diagnosing universal managerial competencies; creation and implementation of educational programs and soft skills development modules for inclusion in additional or basic educational programs of the university, etc. University programs primarily involve the assimilation of professional knowledge, but many employers want young professionals to have a set of important competencies when they leave the university. That is why we need centers of additional competencies.”
Among the tasks solved by KBSU in the framework of cooperation with the ANO «Russia — a country of opportunities», as well as the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation «Priority 2030» — participation in the innovative development of the region through effective cooperation with industrial partners, development institutions, employers, successful university graduates, business — structures of the regional and federal levels by strengthening the role of the university as an expert and analytical center for the development of the KBR. Organization of project activities; creation of a youth business incubator aimed at enhancing the quality and intensity of youth work; increasing labor productivity through the achievement of common team goals; the formation of individual trajectories for the development of leadership qualities among students, the stimulation of career development — will make the competence center very popular.
“The Competence Center of the ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, being created at our university, will contribute to the development of innovative approaches to the implementation of the third mission of the university (consolidation of business, government and society), the further development of the system of continuous education that functions effectively at KBSU, and will allow our students to take part in various competitions and projects, to form and offer potential employers individual competence profiles, to scale the acquired knowledge when creating individual professional career routes,” — Tanzilya Makhieva concluded.
