The most provocative students study at SGI KBSU
On October 28, 2022, applicants and their parents were welcomed by the Social and Humanitarian Institute of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov. Albina Vindizheva, Deputy Director of SGI for Educational and Career Guidance, told the guests about the institute, areas of training:
«Our institute is one of the largest departments at the university. Here, training is conducted in 10 areas: «History», «Anthropology and Ethnology», «International Relations», «Journalism», «Philology», «Linguistics», «Social Work», «Organization of work with youth», «Tourism», «Hotel business».
SGI students study in well-equipped classrooms, computer labs and auditoriums under the guidance of highly qualified teachers. The scientific and pedagogical staff of SGI is made up of over 150 employees. Over the years of its existence, the Social and Humanitarian Institute has trained thousands of specialists. Dozens of graduates of the institute have become scientists, many of them work in educational and scientific institutions of the KBR and the Russian Federation, in the media, in law enforcement agencies, in the field of tourism».
Who, if not students, can better tell about their leisure activities at the university. SGI students vied with high school students to share stories about how interesting it is to study at KBSU.
«Our students have the opportunity to attend various circles, sections and electives. The Student Council of the Institute is always open to creative and creative people», — the guys said.
In confirmation, the schoolchildren were shown a video about the preparation of the first-year students of the SGI for the “Dedication”, i.e. to initiation into students of KBSU. Then the guys showed several comic scenes from the life of teachers and students of the Social and Humanitarian Institute. Galina Karsakova, Deputy Head of the Department for Career Guidance and Pre-University Training, familiarized high school students and their parents with the structure of the KBSU website, where on the “Applicants” page you can find all the necessary information about entering the university.
Galina Karsakova advised the children to choose more subjects for passing the Unified State Examination, this will expand the range of directions at the university where they can apply, and, therefore, increase the chances of getting into the budget.
«If you graduated from school with a medal, are a prize-winner or winner of Olympiads held at KBSU, have a volunteer book, a TRP badge, you have every chance to get additional points for the USE. But no more than 10», — noted the career counselor. Saying goodbye, teachers and students of SGI KBSU expressed their hope to meet with current applicants in the summer, during the admission campaign.
