April 3 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov resumed his work The Council of Young Scientists, which included young talented and ambitious specialists, teachers, who gave great promise in various branches of science.

The idea of ​​reviving the work of the Council of Young Scientists of the KBSU belongs to the Vice-Rector for Science, Head of the Department of Organic Chemistry and High-Molecular Compounds Svetlana Khashirova.

«Science is not only spending time in laboratories, but also social activity. The Council of Young Scientists organizes forums and conferences at various levels. Its task is to establish communication with other universities in order to exchange new knowledge, develop and implement creative potential in the scientific, technical, educational and public spheres. Thanks to the work in the council, you will be able to find new acquaintances among young scientists to join efforts in solving their scientific problems. Personally, as the head of the Council of Young Scientists since 2004, I knew the chairmen of such councils from all the universities of the country,» — Svetlana Khashirova explained their presence to the audience.

She invited the scientific organization to take the first initiative — to develop a regulation on awarding the prize of the head of the republic to young scientists and refer this provision to the Head of the KBR. «You will be the first in the history of the KBR to participate in the development of this kind of award,» — said the pro-rector.

As a result, at the first meeting of the new Council of Young Scientists of the KBSU, Asker Tumov, the postgraduate student of the Domestic History Directorate of the Institute of Hydrometeorology and Education, and the two deputies, the graduate student of the Institute of Physics and Technology Ali Shakarov and the teacher of international law Anna Kanunnikova were elected. Diana Kalazhokova, employee of the UNIDID grants department, was elected secretary of the council.
