The first All-Russian seminar on nuclear electrochemistry will be held at KBSU

From September 18 to September 22 at the Elbrus educational and scientific complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov will host the first All-Russian seminar «Electrochemistry in distributed and nuclear energy.» The organizers of the forum are the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov and the Institute of High-Temperature Electrochemistry of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Yekaterinburg).

Scientists will consider topics such as electrochemical aspects in distributed energy; hydrogen energy: issues and solutions; electrochemical devices: theoretical and applied aspects; electrochemical processes for processing spent nuclear fuel, new functional materials for distributed and nuclear power engineering; molten salts as media for spent nuclear fuel reprocessing; processes and devices with molten salts: electrolysis and refining.

Boris Myasoedov is Chairman of the Interdepartmental Scientific Council on Radiochemistry at the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council «The Final Stage of the Nuclear Fuel Cycle» of the State Corporation «Rosatom».

By the beginning of the seminar, an electronic version of the collection of abstracts of the seminar reports will be prepared and registered in the RSCI citation system. Full versions of articles from the workshop participants will be accepted for consideration in special issues of journals:
