Medical scientists of KBSU took part in the II North Caucasian Medical Congress

Employees of the Medical Academy of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov took part in the Second North Caucasian Medical Congress at the site in «MinvodyEXPO».

On the sidelines of the congress, topical issues of endocrinology, cardiology and therapy, pediatrics, neonatology, neurology, pulmonology, otolaryngology and allergology-immunology were discussed. Particular attention was paid to spa treatment, medical rehabilitation and medical tourism.

KBSU was represented by the head of the department of faculty therapy of the Medical Academy of KBSU, chairman of the regional branch of the RNMOT, chief freelance specialist clinical pharmacologist of the Ministry of Health of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, MD, Professor Murat Umetov, deputy. director of the Medical Academy of KBSU, PhD in Medicine. Ayshat Achabaeva, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine Propaedeutics, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Lilia Elgarova, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Faculty Therapy Larisa Bugova.

The reports of Murat Umetov «Ethnocultural Health Code as a New Paradigm of Preventive Medicine» and Ayshat Achabaeva «Restorative Treatment of Patients with Chronic Pancreatitis» aroused great interest among the audience, which was demonstrated by a large number of questions asked and discussions on some provisions.
