The head of the Department of Economics and Accounting and Analytical Information Systems, Professor Andemirkan Shidov spoke about the advantages of receiving an education in the specialty program 05/38/01 Economic Security:
The duration of education under the specialty program is 5 years in full-time study. A graduate of the specialty receives the so-called basic vocational education and the qualification “economist”. It should be noted that there is a real demand for “specialists” by employers, since this is the standard of classical education in domestic higher education. If a graduate of a specialty chooses a scientific trajectory for his professional development, he can continue his studies in graduate school, bypassing the master’s level.
The educational program of the specialty 38.05.01 Economic security is aimed at training professionals who are able to develop and apply various technologies for protecting all types of property, identify administrative, economic, technical and legal problems in this area, prevent economic losses of economic entities, and protect the rights of individuals and legal entities.
It should be noted that since 2019, the Institute of Law, Economics and Finance of KBSU has been training bachelors of economics in the profile “Information, analytical and legal support of economic security of business.” Over these four years, wonderful proprietary courses and modules have been developed that organically fit into the curriculum of the specialty 05/38/01 Economic Security. The “Legal Module” of the program contains a significant number of disciplines, providing in-depth interdisciplinary professional training in the field of economics and jurisprudence. The educational program was developed taking into account the requirements of professional standards «Accountant», «Auditor», «Business Analyst», «Risk Management Specialist», «Financial Monitoring Specialist (in the field of combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism)» , “Specialist in the field of procurement,”
— said the head of the educational program, associate professor Henrietta Efendieva.
A graduate of the specialty “Economic Security” can work in structures of both the state and non-state sectors:
federal executive authorities carrying out functions to combat the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction;
economic, financial and analytical services of organizations;
