KBSU students were offered to take a «course to the North»
On October 22, the «Career Beacon» towards the North shone for students of the Social and Humanitarian Institute, the Institute of Physics and Mathematics, the Institute of Chemistry and Biology.
Specialists of the «Course to the North» project, moderated by the head of the KBSU career development department, lecturer of the Russian Society «Knowledge», Ratmir Kotsev, talked about how to build a career in the Arctic.
The comprehensive support program «Course to the North» was launched on the initiative of the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis on the basis of the Employment Center.
The project managers noted that the Murmansk Region, as a dynamically developing region, is in need of personnel in various industries, including in the budgetary sphere. The authorities are solving this problem in a comprehensive manner, attracting people to the North with various regional and federal support programs, including payments to young and scarce specialists, the opportunity to receive compensation for housing rent, and an individual approach to each specialist. The «Course to the North» program builds a trajectory for everyone to move comfortably and settle in a new place.
The preferences for those moving to the North include increased wages, paid leave for a period of 52 calendar days, paid travel for the employee and non-working members of his family once every two years, early retirement, etc.
The meeting participants were introduced to official platforms, as well as professional communities in social networks, where applicants can publish their resumes.
Detailed information about the project can be found in office No. 412 of the KBSU Information Center or by leaving a comment «North» in t.me of the Career Development Department.
