KBSU students can get support for their progressive projects from the country’s leadership

Applications are now open for the “Strong Ideas for New Times” forum, which will be held for the fourth time. Experts will select the top 1000 and top 100 ideas, and the best proposals will be presented to the country’s leadership in March. An idea can be submitted on the idea.roscongress.rf platform until January 31, 2024.

The forum is held annually in accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated December 12, 2022 No. 899 and is aimed at supporting and implementing socially significant initiatives and projects of citizens, selecting ideas for shaping the country’s development strategy.

The forum is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Roscongress Foundation, co-organized by VEB.RF.

Idea leaders receive expert feedback from interested partners, participation in acceleration programs, individual project support, media promotion, the opportunity to present ideas to specialized partners, regional and state authorities, and assistance in eliminating administrative barriers.

“The forum is always a new look at the challenges that our country faces today, and often a non-standard approach to solving problems,” said Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Forum Organizing Committee Maxim Oreshkin. – From the experience of past years, we see how many thinking and caring people there are in the country who are ready to participate in the fate of Russia, in shaping its future. We hope that the ideas and proposals received this year will help in preparing the country’s development strategy until 2036.”

“Direct open dialogue between society, the expert community, government and business, implemented within the framework of the forum, is a sought-after and promising mechanism for solving the country’s national problems,” emphasized Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board, Director of the Roscongress Foundation. “This is ensured, among other things, through comprehensive and effective measures to support the initiatives proposed by an increasing number of people.”

“We are waiting for applications from everyone who has proposals and projects to improve the quality of life of people, support entrepreneurial initiatives, in the field of technology, education,” noted ASI General Director Svetlana Chupsheva. “Each idea will receive an assessment; we will traditionally involve a wide expert community and regional management teams in this work.”

In 2024, the following areas of ideas and projects for participation in the forum were approved:

– Quality of life of the population

– Economic and entrepreneurship development

– Space for development

– Technological development

– Effective work and education

– Data economy and digital solutions

– Effective state

The first forum “Strong Ideas for New Times” was held in 2020. In accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia, the forum became an annual event. In three years, it rallied more than 400 thousand residents. In the first year, it was possible to collect 14,768 initiatives and projects; in 2022, leaders proposed 19,512 ideas for the development of the country, in 2023 – 23,563. Every year, about a thousand ideas receive various support tools from the Agency, forum partners, and regional authorities.
