KBSU is the best university in the North Caucasus Federal District according to the Eurasian University Ranking 2023

According to the results of the international ranking of universities “IAAR Eurasian University Ranking (IAAR EUR)” 2023, conducted by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), Kabardino-Balkarian State University was recognized as the best university among universities in the North Caucasus Federal District, the ranking also included universities from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova.

The top three included Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Osh State University.

The international ranking IAAR EUR ranks universities based on four indicators: quality of education (20%), scientific potential of the university (30%), international recognition of the university (20%), academic reputation of the university (30%).

The international ranking IAAR EUR was developed by the IAAR and is aimed at a comprehensive assessment of the quality of activities of higher educational institutions, takes into account international methodological standards for constructing rankings IREG (Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence), standards for conducting empirical research and promotes the integration of universities into the global educational and world research space. The methodology of the international IAAR EUR ranking is based on compliance with the Berlin principles: transparency, objectivity, verifiability and accessibility of information sources.
