KBSU became the site of the V National Championship «Skills of the Wise»
More than 300 contestants from 60 regions of the country who reached the finals of the V National Championship «Skills of the Wise» demonstrated their skills in 28 professional competencies from October 12 to 14. Among them are representatives of Kabardino-Balkaria, who were trained at the Pedagogical College of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov. The championship was held in a remote-face-to-face format, its participants competed at the home venues of their regions, and their work was evaluated by 115 experts. 28 chief competency experts managed the competitions from the Competition Management Center in Novosibirsk, and evaluating experts from the Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions (until May 2022 this was the scope of WorldSkills Russia) conducted remote video monitoring of the progress of competitive tests in the regions. 28 competencies traditionally represented 7 areas: construction and construction technologies; information and communication technologies; creativity and design; production and engineering technologies; services sector; transport and logistic; education.
The championship was organized by the Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions and the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, which, starting from 2021, continued to develop the championship, which went beyond the framework of the Demography national project. For the third year in a row, the championship of professional excellence in the category «Skills of the Wise» in the competence «Teaching in the Primary Schools» and for the first time in the competence «Preschool Education» is held on the basis of the Specialized Competence Center at the Pedagogical College of the KBSU.
The developed material and technical infrastructure of the center allows mastering the most modern educational technologies, which, of course, affects the results of the performance of the contestants. In the V National final of the championship «Skills of the Wise», the winners who received the medallions «For Professionalism» were both participants from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic — the teacher of the MKDOU «Kindergarten No. 25», o. Nalchik Lyubov Kuranova and teacher MKOU «Gymnasium No. 4» g.o. Nalchik Aina Tsoloeva. For a master in her field, Lyubov Kuranova, WorldSkills Russia professional training standards have become the norm. For 4 years now, she has been participating as an expert in regional championships in the “Preschool education” competence and in demonstration exams for students and attendees of FVE courses in WorldSkills programs at the Pedagogical College. She is not only an experienced and highly professional expert, but also often assists in the preparation of students participating in the championships as a methodologist. And this time she decided to try herself in professional competitions, where she confirmed her competence by winning the regional championship and taking a prize in the National final.

This competition really allows you to show your abilities and professional qualities, because at no other professional competition does a participant-teacher get such a tremendous experience of working with modern didactic technologies on modern interactive equipment, cannot, as clearly as here, prove the advantages of life and professional experience armed with new technologies,” — emphasized Lyubov Kuranova Aina Tsoloeva, the winner of the regional championship in the “Teaching in elementary grades” competency, also became the winner of the National final of the “Skills of the Wise” championship.
For the first time, Aina Dzhamalievna took part in this age category of the championship in 2019 and immediately took second place in the regional championship. All this time, she accompanies work with students and participates in the events of the Young Professionals project as an expert. During this time, she became a high-level expert and took part in 8 demonstration exams for students and attendees of advanced training courses under WorldSkills Russia programs. In the finals of the 5th National Championship «Skills of the Wise», our teachers completed incredibly difficult tasks of the competition, all under the watchful eye of video cameras. Minute by minute, they completed classes on methodological tasks issued randomly at the start of the competition. We can say with confidence that they passed professional tests with honor and won worthy awards.
