FOREIGN STUDENTS OF KBSU VISITED THE FAIRY CHEGEM GORGE

On 20 of January foreign students of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov went on an excursion to Chegem waterfalls. The trip was organized by the Institute of foreign students with the aim of exploring the sights of our Republic and the Caucasian culture, as well as to help foreigners to adapt to a new sociocultural environment. On the eve of the tour at the lessons of Russian language and country studies were conducted language and cross-cultural training.

«Chegem waterfalls» – one of the most famous sights of Kabardino-Balkaria. They are especially beautiful in the winter. Frozen Chegem waterfalls – the spectacle is absolutely fantastic. Ice columns and frozen columns of jets and streams of water like giant twisted candle or stalactites, down to the river. «Foreign students who visited the Chegem in awe of the beauty of the gorge. The tour left them with vivid impressions from the contemplation of the beauty of nature in Kabardino-Balkaria», – said the curator of the Department of General educational disciplines for foreign students of Tatiana Romanova.
