Travel around the capital of the KBR with the audio guide «LisaNalchik», created by a student of KBSU

Responding to numerous search queries from the guests of the republic, a 2nd year undergraduate student in the direction of «Hospitality» of the Institute of Management, Tourism and Hospitality Industry of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov Elizaveta Ponomarenko created the project “Audio guide for the city of Nalchik based on a chat-bot.

The chatbot called «LisaNalchik» in Telegram allows the user to choose the sight of the capital of the republic and listen to an audio story about it. With the help of a chatbot, you can create your own personal tour, build your route around the sights of the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, the story of which is embedded in the application,

How to use the chatbot? Open the application, press Start. First comes the history of Nalchik.

I believe that every tourist, and even more so every resident of the city, should know its history,

Then you need to select an area. For convenience, all attractions are divided into districts. After the area is selected, the sights that are located in this area are displayed on the screen. A photograph of the attraction and an audio file are also released. The text is read by two voices: older and younger. The user can choose his own voice.

The author collected information from open sources and independently coped with the technical side of the project.

The chat bot is based on original algorithms written by me. By my first education, I am a medical physicist, so the technological side did not cause any difficulties for me. But tourism is a multifaceted, multifaceted field that has always fascinated me. I like everything related to tourism. I came to the chatbot two years later, when I started doing audio tours. In the future, I’m going to scale my project. There are plans to create an audio tour of the Elbrus region. I would like to popularize our republic for guests and its residents, to promote the development of tourism,
