Topical issues of medicine were discussed at KBSU

On May 26, 2023, the Medical Faculty of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov held the 53rd International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists «Actual Issues of Medicine».

The forum was implemented as part of the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program. The organizer of the conference, head of the Department of General Medical Training and Medical Rehabilitation, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Research Irina Tkhabisimova shared:

The conference has an international format for the second year. It is attended by representatives of Belarus, Egypt, Syria, India, Azerbaijan in person and online. In addition to foreign participants, KBSU students who study in English actively showed themselves — they made presentations in the English-language section of the conference.

We also have a lot of participants from the Donetsk State Medical University named after M. Gorky, from RNIMU named after N. I. Pirogov (Moscow), St. Petersburg State Medical University named after I.P. Pavlov (St. Petersburg), SOGMA (Vladikavkaz), SKGA (Cherkessk) and other universities of Russia. I would like to note that this year the conference is attended by students of specialized medical classes from schools in different regions of Kabardino-Balkaria. A total of 209 participants were registered in 8 sections on the most pressing issues of medicine.

As a result of the conference, we will publish a collection of scientific articles, which will be indexed in the RSCI.
