The winner of the «Big Break» contest is KBSU’s student Tamara Voitenko

Student of the College of Information Technologies and Economics of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov Tamara Voitenko became the winner of the All-Russian competition «Big Change» among students in the field of secondary vocational education (SVE). The competition is a project of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and is included in the line of the presidential platform «Russia — a country of opportunities».

«I received information about the competition from a group of our college, and a friend told me about it, — says Tamara Voitenko, winner of the Big Break. — The competitions were held in three stages — remote part, semi-final and final. At each stage, we dealt with the solution of cases and their protection. The most important thing for the participants was to learn how to work in a team and, of course, create a cool project. Most of all, I remember the master classes and meetings with famous guests who shared their knowledge and experience.

I would like to express my gratitude for the support provided by the acting. Rector Yury Altudov, Director of the Department for Support of NTI Projects and Continuing Education Tanzilya Makhieva, Director of KIET Zalina Etueva. And also to the regional coordinator of the competition Tamara Aybazova, my project mentor Olga Krasilnikova and, of course, to my family».

The final of the «Big Break» was traditionally held in Nizhny Novgorod. In 2022, 300 people became winners, of which 150 graduate students received 1 million rubles each and another 150 non-graduate students received 200 thousand rubles each. The amount won can be spent on education, self-development or launching your own startup. Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, congratulated the prize-winners and winners of the competition:

«I want to congratulate you on your victory, because everyone in this hall is a winner, because you were not afraid to accept the challenge, you were not afraid to apply for the competition, you passed this whole huge stage . We have almost 4 million participants this year in the Big Break, and almost 800,000 of them are college students. Each of you became the best of 800 thousand. I want to wish you to dream more boldly, because everything in our life is determined by the boldness of a dream. As long as you are afraid to dream, nothing will happen».

The finalists had the opportunity to meet with representatives of the Russia – Land of Opportunities platform. Sergey Kolyada, Head of the Organization’s Communications Department, held a master class «Communication Efficiency in the 21st Century».

Vasily Yaitsky, adviser to the governor of the Kaliningrad region on social and patriotic projects, winner of the All-Russian competition of managers «Leaders of Russia», told how to make dozens of feature films without funding and make hundreds of children’s dreams come true. Chairman of the Sarov City Duma, winner of the Leaders of Russia All-Russian competition for managers Anton Ulyanov shared his experience and advice with college students on how to develop flexible skills and achieve success in any field.
