The Ecological Roll Call Forum has new federal partners
The Russian environmental operator has become an eco-partner of the Ecological Roll Call 2022 youth forum. The All-Russian gathering of environmental volunteers will be held in September in the village of Elbrus, and applications have already begun.
“We are glad to become partners of another youth forum on the topic of ecology “Ecological Roll Call” in Kabardino-Balkaria. Thanks to active and caring young people, we promote an ecological lifestyle, separate waste collection, which meets the principles of forming a circular economy. What are we going to within the framework of the waste management reform,” — said Denis Butsaev, Director General of the PPC REO. The forum will be held from 16 to 20 September on the basis of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov in the village of Elbrus. The project is implemented with the support of «Rosmolodezh.Grants».
Citizens of the Russian Federation aged 16-30, representatives of the student community, members or leaders of student environmental clubs or associations can take part. Applications are accepted until August 20 at the link.
“Ecological Roll Call will be a single ecological space, where a set of educational events on the topic of ecology will be held for the forum participants. Young people aged 16-30 who want to improve their level of environmental literacy and culture of waste management can participate in the forum. We are sure that there are a large number of such people among our citizens, and by the end of the year the REO plans to unite at least 10,000 such active eco-volunteers,” — said Dmitry Boyko, head of the PR department.
Last year, thanks to the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the forum reached the all-Russian level. Within the framework of the II All-Russian seminar-conference on educational work, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation held a monitoring competition “Practices for organizing educational work with students of educational institutions of higher education”, which included more than 400 projects from 66 regions of the country. The project of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov «The annual interregional gathering of environmental volunteers «Ecological roll call» of the labor environmental team of the KBSU «Green Watch» was included in the TOP list of the country’s best practices.
“We are proud that the Ecological Roll Call, which has become traditional, brings together dozens of leading Russian experts in the field of ecology and nature management, hundreds of eco-volunteers, young scientists, leaders and participants in social environmental projects and initiatives implemented on the territory of the Russian Federation. Each time our forum is filled with constructive communication on the merits. Moreover, the program includes not only the educational part and excursions to the picturesque places of the Elbrus region, the forum users actually show how to take care of the environment by participating in environmental events at the foot of Elbrus. This year the program will also be very rich and varied,” — said Asker Shebzukhov, the founder of the project, head of the department of ecology and nature management of the Integrated Security Department of the KBSU.
