The book «90 years of KBSU: People and events» is presented in the scientific community
December 23, 2022 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov hosted the presentation of the book of Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Department of Russian Language and General Linguistics Svetlana Bashieva «90 years of KBSU: People and Events». In the cultural center named after H.S. Temirkanov gathered current and former employees of KBSU, students and graduate students.
«We are united and warmed by its warmth, inspired by the bright, happy, dignified, creative, reliable and beloved space of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, which has gone a long and glorious path from a pedagogical institute to a multidisciplinary modern classical university for 90 years. Everything that has been accumulated grows out of many years of experience written in golden letters on the pages of the annals of the Kabardino-Balkarian University, reflected in this new book», — Madina Buranova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, opened the presentation.
The titanic, scrupulous work of Professor Bashieva in collecting and publicistic reflection of historical information about key events and personalities of the university, as well as the contribution of the Doctor of Philology Svetlana Bashieva to the development of the historical science of the region, was told to the participants of the meeting by her colleagues — scientists from KBSU and other universities of Russia.
«We spent 2022 under the banner of the 90th anniversary of our university. And a huge contribution to the preservation of the history of the university was the idea of Professor Bashieva Svetlana Konakbievna, brought to life. I saw how this book was created, how much work was invested in it. This is the first edition, and next year we will definitely continue. But the most important thing that it has is the people who made and are making our university, those who were among us, who left before us. The book «90 years of KBSU: people and events» by Svetlana Bashieva is the first in a series of publications about the employees of the Kabardino-Balkarian University who worked at the university at different times — from its origins to the present day.
