The authority of KBSU experts was recognized by the organizing committee of the competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia 2022»
Director of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov Olga Mikhailenko took part in the full-time stage of the All-Russian competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia 2022» as a member of the jury.
For an objective assessment of the professional skills of the contest participants, Olga Ivanovna was awarded a letter of thanks and a silver Pelican badge. The 33rd competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia», which is one of the largest events in the field of pedagogy, this time takes place in Tyumen. This year, 88 teachers took part in the internal stage of the professional competition: from each region of Russia, as well as from the LPR, the DPR and the foreign school of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
“The contestants passed two tests. The first of them was the «Lesson», in which teachers had to demonstrate their professional competence in the field of preparing, conducting and analyzing a school lesson. The second was the Educational Event, which was supposed to show the teacher’s ability to conduct an extracurricular educational activity,” — said Olga Mikhailenko, director of the Institute of pedagogy, psychology and sports education of the KBSU.
Based on the results of the first round, the jury determined 15 laureates who will continue to fight for the title of «Teacher of the Year». One of the laureates was our countryman, a graduate of KBSU, Aslan Kashezhev. Now he works as a teacher of physics and astronomy of lyceum No. 2. in Nalchik.
The «educational event», which was held by Aslan Kashezhev, made a splash on the guys. Schoolchildren shared with their teachers that it was very interesting and informative, and they just need such a teacher in school. Next, the teachers will have competitive tests «Master class» and «Question to the teacher of the year.»
Only five winners will be selected after these competitions. They will be able to participate in the teachers’ council with the Minister of Education in Moscow. And this will be the last test of the competition, which will determine the winner. The winner will be announced on October 5 in Moscow, and the competition will end with a gala concert at the State Kremlin Palace. The founders of the All-Russian competition «Teacher of the Year of Russia» are the Ministry of Education of Russia, the All-Russian Trade Union of Education and JSC «Publishing House «Teacher’s Newspaper».
