SGI KBSU will host a series of curatorial hours timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of KBSU

On March 30, 2022, as part of the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of KBSU, students of the Social and Humanitarian Institute of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov of the directions of study «Organization of work with youth» and «International relations» visited the Museum of the History of KBSU, where a popular science lecture-conversation on the topic «My country — my republic — my university» was held. Director of SGI, Ph.D. Muslim Tamazov spoke about the stages of formation and development of KBSU, starting from the Pedagogical Institute in Pyatigorsk and ending with a modern university, one of the hundred best universities in Russia.

He led the students through the exposition of the museum, where stands with unique photographs and valuable exhibits demonstrating the glorious past of the university are presented. Of great interest to the audience was the story of the head of the institute about the first educators of the KBR, the first real school in Nalchik, the Leninsky educational campus, the activities of four rectors of the university and many achievements of KBSU.

At the end of the tour, the administration of the SGI KBSU decided to hold a series of curatorial hours of patriotic content in a similar format with students and teachers from various areas of the institute and members of the historical and patriotic club «Klio» already on the basis of the Hermitage-Caucasus Center in the course of implementing the KBSU development program as part of federal project «Priority 2030» (section of youth policy).
