Rector Yuri Altudov spoke with the head of the KBR Kazbek Kokov about the implementation of the “Priority 2030” program

Rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov and acting head of the Department of Strategic Programs and Projects A. Popova took part in a meeting of the Council on Higher Education and Science, which was held on October 17, 2023 by the head of the KBR Kazbek Kokov.

The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Government of the KBR Aliy Musukov, members of the Government and deputies of the Parliament of the KBR, ministers, heads of higher educational institutions and research institutes, industrial and agricultural enterprises, and public organizations.

Yuri Altudov reported on the progress of implementation of the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program at the university. Among the main results this year, the development of polymer additive technologies was noted: new products and products were developed, the country’s first pilot production of heat-resistant polymers and composites for 3D printing was created. By decision of the Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Engineering Center “Advanced Materials and Technologies” was included in the block “Best Practices Priority-2030” and was presented at the Festival of Best Practices of the Priority-2030 Program PriorityFest on October 13, 2023.

Also on this day, within the framework of the session “Additional vocational training — a tool for transferring the achievements of strategic projects “Priority-2030”” of the PriorityFest festival, the moderators noted the contribution of KBSU in the field of additional professional education. According to the criterion “Involvement of teachers in the implementation of further education programs,” KBSU took sixth place among 132 universities participating in the “Priority 2030” program. New methods are being developed in healthcare — a method for the rehabilitation of patients after coronavirus infection has been developed. The development of the IT sector continues: the “Digital Departments” project is being implemented, where more than 1,000 students study free of charge.

As of October 1, 2023, most of the indicators of the university’s development program have been met.
