At Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov held an online meeting with graduates of 2020, rector of the university Yuri Altudov and CEO of ITV | Axxonsoft, member of the Board of Trustees of KBSU Murat Altuev.

The meeting, which was attended by graduates of KBSU, who were representatives of the university’s student asset, was prepared by the University Student Council, and therefore the conversation was informal, lively and on the most pressing topics.

In his opening remarks, Yuri Altudov expressed regret that there is now no way to see each other live, to hold a traditional graduation ball at the Green Theater, but there are objective reasons that everyone knows well about, and especially those of the graduates who worked in the days of the pandemic “red zone”, helped doctors of the republic and the old people.

“I know that among our students there are about 200 people who, as medical personnel, have been fighting the threat of the spread of coronavirus, many of them are graduates of this year. I want to say thanks to them! I would like them to know that we appreciate their work. Thanks to all of you for studying hard, sharing with the staff of the university all the difficulties. I think that you should thank the faculty and all the university staff who helped you successfully complete the university. Let’s hope that, despite these difficulties, you will always treat the university warmly, like your Alma Mater,” — said Yuri Altudov.

In their questions, the graduates touched on the most pressing topics that concern not only themselves, but also those who could not take part in the meeting. They asked about the prospects for continuing education at KBSU at the master’s level, about the employment and internships of university students, about the pros and cons of distance learning, about new changes to the Federal state educational standards. A number of questions were addressed to the honored guest of the meeting — Murat Altuev, he was asked to talk about the Huawei Academy of Information and Communication Technologies, which opens in the academic year 2020-2021 at KBSU, about the possibilities of creating a kind of «silicon valley» on the basis of the university, and the prospects for getting settled to work in ITV | Axxonsoft.

Among the questions that aroused the most lively interest and emotional reaction were questions to the rector: «Advise how to become a rector of KBSU?» and “Will summer university camps and schools be open this year?”
