Potential energy hope was identified at KBSU
April 13 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, the Republican Olympiad in Physics «Hope of Energy» was held at the site of the College of Information Technologies and Economics.
The competition was attended by 82 people — students of grades 9-11 of general educational institutions of the republic and students of secondary vocational education.
The organizer of the Olympiad, Asiyat Kugotova, teacher of physical disciplines of CITE, commented:
Electrical engineering, electric power industry is a branch of science and technology associated with the use of electrical and magnetic phenomena for energy conversion, material processing, information transmission, and others, covering the issues of obtaining, converting and using electricity in human practical activities. A deep study of the discipline provides the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills in the study of electrical devices.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to develop the cognitive activity of schoolchildren and students, expand their technical horizons, form the skills of independent activity among participants, and also attract motivated applicants to the university.
It should be noted that electrical engineering and power engineering at CITE of KBSU underlie such disciplines as «Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering», «Electrotechnical Measurements», «Electrotechnical Fundamentals of Power Supplies», «Applied Electronics». The tasks of the Olympiad consisted of five tricky tasks and a short reflection on the topic «Energy of the Future». The results of the Olympiad will be posted on the KBSU website in the «Olympiads and Competitions» section.
April 14 at 14.00 in the building of the SHI KBSU will host a competition for young guides «Journey through the KBR».
On April 15, at 10.00 am, the Olympiad in electronics will be held in the building of the IPM KBSU, and the electoral dictation will be held in the main building at the same time.
