KBSU summed up the work of 2023

December 27, 203 student scientific association of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov summed up the results of the year.

In the presence of the chairmen of the SSS units of KBSU, SSS curator Aneta Kokoeva announced a report on the work done for the year.

During the year, from January 2023, more than 40 scientific events were held at KBSU. Conferences at various levels have helped increase the number of scientific publications, the report says.

Aneta Kokoeva named the names of the winners and prize-winners of grant competitions in 2023 from among the participants of the KBSU SSS. In particular, the winners of the “Student Startup” grant in the 3rd and 4th stages were Kanamat Kurashev (IPEiF) for the project “WEST Recording Studio”, Inal Makhov (SGI) for the WorkWise project, Alim Zagashtokov (KITiE) for the project “RenPas — creator visual novels”, Zhanna Bitokova (IASiD) for the project “Art Laboratory “FASCHE””, Kazbek Shogentsukov (IASiD) for the project “Green Leaf”, Alim Gershishev (IMTiIG) for creating a mobile application for patronage services “Your Own Man”.

The winners of the UMNIK program were Romina Karatsukova (IKhiB) and Ibragim Baziev (IKhiB).

The winner of the All-Russian competition of youth projects among individuals in 2023 of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs was the Chairman of the SSS IPPiFSO KBSU Ruslan Zhidkov with a project for the development of SSS in the structural unit.

Alexander Iskovskikh, 1st year master of the Institute of Computer Science and Technology, who for two years was the chairman of the SSS of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies, is applying for a grant from the President of the Russian Federation in the 2023–2024 academic year.

“Student entrepreneurship is also developing. For all 4 stages of the Innovation Promotion Fund competition under the “Student Startup” program, 11 KBSU students won 1 million rubles each for the development of their startup,”
– summarized Aneta Kokoeva.

Next, members of the KBSU SSS discussed the work plan for the next year. The chairmen of the SSS of each educational unit were asked to draw up a work plan indicating scientific events, conferences, training seminars, master classes, lectures, etc.

Aneta Kokoeva also said that the chairmen of the SSS will be familiarized with the action plan of KBSU units, which is being formed in the department for scientific research and innovation activities of KBSU.

“Your task is to participate as much as possible in these events. So, in February a grant will be announced to support SNO. The Innovation Promotion Foundation will announce the “Student Startup” competition in the spring. So you need to prepare projects in advance, approach the specialists of the grant department of the UNIID KBSU. They will look at your projects and help you with the design,”
– noted Aneta Kokoeva.

During the meeting, the possibilities of publishing scientific articles and other studies were discussed. It was decided to hold a master class on the design of scientific articles.

“I want you to continue to work actively. Because doing science now is very profitable and interesting,”
