KBSU students will represent the republic at the district stage of the All-Russian competition of the Ministry of Emergency Situations «Human Factor»

A team of students from the Institute of Pedagogics, Psychology and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov won the qualifying stage of the All-Russian competition «Human Factor», the purpose of which is to train young people to provide psychological support and first aid to citizens in case of accidents, injuries, poisoning and other conditions that threaten their life and health. The competitions are organized with the support of the Center for Emergency Psychological Assistance of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

On the basis of the fire and rescue unit No. 1 of the city of Nalchik competed student teams of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, as well as teams of volunteer organizations of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic: «Paradigma» — students of the «Psychology» direction of KBSU, as well as «Sirius» and «Strength and Honor» — volunteers of the regional branch of the organization «Russian Red Cross».

KBSU was presented by — team captain, 1st year undergraduate student Milana Bekulova; 1st year graduate student Dina Hashkulova and 3rd year student Deniza Ibragimova. The qualifying stage consisted of test tasks, which included 30 questions on psychological support and first aid. The control time for completing tasks is 60 minutes. The team of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of the KBSU showed excellent results and has now the right to represent the republic at the district stage of the All-Russian competition «Human Factor», which will be held in Pyatigorsk in April 2023.

I want to express my gratitude to the staff of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in KBR for the opportunity that they gave the students of our institute to show their knowledge and practical skills in providing psychological help.
