KBSU student won bronze at the European Judo Cup

Adam Ozov, a student at the Institute of Management, Tourism, and Hospitality Industry at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov, won bronze in the 73 kg weight class at the European Junior Judo Cup, held in Istanbul on May 2-3.

He emerged victorious in a tense third-place bout with a Georgian athlete. This isn’t the young judoka’s first award. Over the past two years, he has consistently shown good results at tournaments of various levels. In 2025, Adam won bronze at the European Junior Cup, competing in the 66 kg weight class. Adam Ozov’s success is the result of rigorous training under the guidance of coaches Zalim and Beslan Dzuev. With his achievements, the wrestler proves that determination and hard work allow one to achieve high results both in the athletic and academic fields.
