KBSU remembered Kaisyn Kuliev

Students of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov took part in a nationwide cultural and educational event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the People’s Poet of the KBASSR, Lenin and State Prizes of the USSR Kaisyn Kuliev.

Today, June 4, 35 years have passed since the famous Balkarian poet, who during his lifetime was called the man of the world, the man of legend, died. Due to the restrictions associated with the prevention and prevention of the spread of coronavirus, all commemorative events dedicated to Kuliev were held online. On the Internet on the pages of student literary associations were published poems and memories of the poet. The KBSU library organized a virtual book-illustrative exhibition.

Foreign students of KBSU took an active part in the commemorative action, organizing a literary flash mob, which you can see in the video application for this article. Representatives of India, Palestine, Syria, Nigeria, Yemen and Afghanistan read the poem «Peace and joy to you living!».

“Kaisyn Kuliev’s work was known and loved in many countries of the world. His works have been translated into 140 languages ​​of the world. They are filled with love for life, for the Motherland, for people, which makes it close to millions of people. Therefore, our students gladly supported the commemorative action, ”said Elena Sherieva, Deputy Director of the KBSU Campus for Work with Foreign Students.
