Release date: 23.07.2021

More than 60 books, teaching aids and monographs by scientists of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov in various fields of knowledge were included in the «Network electronic library of classical universities» and are available on the platform of the EBS «Lan».

Universities whose development strategy is consistent with national educational goals become participants in the non-profit project. This is the cooperation of organizations, the consolidation of resources, the mutual development and enrichment of the educational process through the joint free use of educational and scientific literature published by participating universities.

The universities participating in the project place on one platform the literature published by the universities and get free access to the literature of other members of the SEB consortium and thus increase the volume of their book collections, meet the book availability requirements and optimize costs. Thus, a single fund of educational and scientific literature is formed in all disciplines and areas of training: from veterinary medicine and nuclear physics to cinema and physical education.

The SEB Consortium has already proven its relevance in the academic field and is now reaching a new level. As a large-scale initiative that has a beneficial effect on the educational sector, the project has passed the target selection of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) entitled «100 leaders in the development of new approaches in education.»

Thanks to the support of ASI, it is planned to aggregate an even larger knowledge base on one platform and enrich the educational opportunities of participating universities with free and high-quality educational content.

The creator, operator and driver of development of the SEB consortium is the electronic library system «Lan» (EBS «Lan»).
