KBSU Joins Blood Donor Week

Release date: 22.06.2026

Staff and students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov took part in a large-scale blood donation drive as part of Blood Donor Week.

The event, organized by the KBSU «Dobro.Center» Social Development Center, traditionally brought together caring individuals willing to selflessly help those in dire need. Participants made a significant contribution to replenishing the blood bank, clearly demonstrating the power of the blood donor movement.

KBSU is systematically working in this area: from September to June alone, the university hosted more than 12 blood donation drives, attended by over 400 people.

Since the beginning of this year, approximately 100 people have received donor status at KBSU, many of whom donate blood regularly. Furthermore, the university actively participated in the All-Russian «Youth Donor Cup: Donor of the United Country» campaign on a special platform where university representatives who donate blood successfully register.

This campaign, part of Donor Week at KBSU, aims not only to help individual patients but also to develop a culture of voluntary blood donation in society. KBSU traditionally supports such initiatives, reminding everyone that true goodness begins with the conscious choice of each of us.
