KBSU is ready to open a military training center

At an open review at the military training center of the Russian Technological University MIREA, held on September 24, 2023, a delegation from the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, headed by acting The rector of the university, Yuri Altudov, presented an exposition indicating the readiness to open a military training center (MTC) at KBSU.

Another 8 applicant universities took part in the exhibition and tried to demonstrate as clearly and convincingly as possible their readiness to open a training center for the Ministry of Defense. The head of KBSU told his colleagues about 100% readiness, extensive experience in military-patriotic work and new developments that meet modern challenges.

The university pays great attention to the military-patriotic education of youth. Every year, the university hosts more than 200 patriotic events that bring together young people (about 20,000 students), veterans, representatives of military departments and law enforcement agencies.
Previously, from 1967 to 2008, the university conducted military training and had a military department. Now the measures to create a military training center have been completed in full in accordance with the approved road map.

A separate four-story building with 50 rooms with a total area of 1972.1 sq.m. has been allocated for the location of the military training center. A major renovation of the building was carried out,

Also acting Rector of KBSU spoke about the scientific developments being carried out at the university, in which military-industrial enterprises and the aerospace sector of Russia are interested.

The next stage of the presentation of readiness for the opening of the KBSU educational educational center will take place on September 26 at the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation.
