“I hope that the work of the session will be fruitful and successful, and your stay at KBSU will leave a good impression of both the republic and our university,” — addressed to the participants vice-rector for Academic affairs of KBSU Vadim Lesev.

The event was organized by the Career expert center under the Ministry of education and science of Russia, the «Facultetus» digital career platform and Sberbank. The purpose of the session is to form the image of a career center as a structural unit that can become a place of attraction for applicants, students, employers and university staff.

“We will also discuss how the Career Center can shape the regional agenda and contribute to the development of the economy and establish interaction between career centers in different regions to create new joint projects and hold events,” — said Darya Kozyreva, head of the Career expert center under the Russian Ministry of education and Science.

Also, the head of the career development department Ratmir Kotsev spoke about the work of KBSU career center and a little about the university itself:

“This year our university turns 90 years old, KBSU is a classical university, where about 17 thousand students study and almost all the specialists that are needed for the region are trained. Today 6 people work in our career center at KBSU. We send students to all types of practice, we help them with employment etc”.

The session was attended by more than 50 employees and managers of career centers from all over the North Caucasus federal district. During the day, participants went through a series of workshops from the leaders of educational tracks, orientation sessions, master classes, consultations with experts with case studies and informal sessions with participants’ stories about personal bad experiences in the Career center. Based on the results of the project and analytical session, under the guidance of the Expert career center under the Ministry of education and science of Russia, proposals were prepared on the development and modernization of career events, digitalization and optimization of work processes, and interregional interaction of university career centers.

In September and October, 8 design and analytical sessions will be held, in which more than 500 representatives of career centers from all federal districts of our country will take part.
