KBSU celebrated its founding day

October 12, 20232 to the main university of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic — Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after. Kh. M. Berbekov turned 91 years old.

KBSU is one of the largest classical universities in the country. Today, about 20 thousand people from 40 regions of the country and about 50 countries study there. The university is developing dynamically and confidently maintains its position among the hundred best universities in Russia.

Congratulating staff, graduate students, residents and students, the management of KBSU expressed gratitude to the teaching staff for their professionalism, high responsibility in fulfilling assigned tasks, daily work, achieved success and aspiration to new heights in the field of education, science, culture and enlightenment.

For conscientious work and in connection with the celebration of the founding day of KBSU, 48 university employees were awarded the KBSU Certificate of Honor.

A lot has been done over the 91 years of operation of the university. KBSU is a center of culture, a center of science, a center of education and a center of enlightenment. We will continue to stand on these four pillars. Let’s love our university, let’s proudly bear its name,

– acting KBSU Murat Gukepshokov addressed the colleagues and students gathered for the festive concert in the cinema and concert hall named after A.N. Sokurov.

Popular singers Cherim Nakhushev and Alim Gazaev, as well as eminent groups came to congratulate the oldest university of the republic: the State Academic Dance Ensemble “Kabardinka”, the State Folklore and Ethnographic Dance Ensemble “Balkaria”, the KBSU Dance Theater “Callisto” and the Exemplary Children’s Group Contemporary Dance Ensemble «Arabesque».

The audience was very pleased and supported the artists with loud applause.
