KBSU and Kavkaz.RF signed an agreement on training personnel for the tourism industry
Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov and Kavkaz.RF Corporation signed a cooperation agreement. The document formalized the parties’ intentions to create a system for training, internships, and subsequent employment of graduates. The signing ceremony took place at a meeting between graduating students and representatives of Kavkaz.RF.
The agreement provides for collaboration in training specialists in four areas: tourism and hospitality, hotel management, IT technologies for the digitalization of resorts, and management and economics.
Kavkaz.RF is a development institution whose mission is to create new growth areas for the macroregion. «We are interested in motivated graduates ready to work at the Elbrus, Arkhyz, Mamison, and Veduchi ski resorts, as well as in the emerging Caspian cluster,» noted Svetlana Borodikhina, Director of the HR Department at Kavkaz.RF.
Ratmir Kotsev, Head of Career Development at KBSU, emphasized that partnering with a major employer gives graduates a real start without a lengthy job search.
«Cooperation with Kavkaz.RF will allow our students to build a direct trajectory: from study to employment,» Kotsev stated. «Even while studying, students can immerse themselves in a professional environment, complete internships on real projects, and receive a specific offer by the time they graduate. We’re moving away from the ‘I have a diploma, so what next?’ situation. Now we have an employer who is eager to see our graduates and is ready to invest in them.»
Vyacheslav Atayev, CEO of the Association for the Development of Human Resources in the Tourism Industry of the North Caucasus Federal District (ARKPTO), attended the event. He noted that the North Caucasus tourism industry needs interdisciplinary talent, from service specialists to IT analysts.
«Our goal is to create conditions where students from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic see their future in their home republic. The Association acts as an integrator between education and business,» Atayev said.
Following the official part, students completed questionnaires to form a talent pool for Kavkaz.RF JSC and the ARKPTO Association’s partners. Active participants received personal offers of internships and employment opportunities on the company’s projects in Moscow, with the possibility of rotation between regions.
