IT tourists of KBSU distinguished themselves in the hackathon of the North Caucasus Federal District

The team "IT-tourist" of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov won the first youth tourist hackathon of the North Caucasus Federal District "HackGround", which took place on March 19–20 in Zheleznovodsk.   The guests of honor at the opening ceremony of "HackGround" were members of the staff of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasian Federal District, representatives of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, the administration of Zheleznovodsk, employees of the North Caucasian Federal University and the rector's community.   Welcoming remarks were made by the Assistant to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District Sergey Starikov and the Rector of the North Caucasus Federal University Dmitry Bespalov.   For two days, the participants had a unique opportunity to learn everything about the current trends in the development of tourism, service, technological solutions for the district.   As part of the HackGround hackathon, an official presentation of the territorial brand of the North Caucasus took place, the speaker of which was Saadu Kaziev, Director for Special Projects and External Relations of NCFU, and the Mayor of Zheleznovodsk, Evgeny Moiseev, presented the features and trajectory of the development of the resort city, which so warmly welcomed the project participants ... He noted that the development of tourism in the North Caucasus could entail an increase in jobs, improve the quality of life in the region and provide recreation for millions of people.   Maria Kuznetsova, a teacher of advanced training courses for guides, finalist of the All-Russian competition "Masters of Hospitality", told how to build your own unique and beautiful route in its own way.   Maxim Makarov, a specialist in the HERE Technologies platform for developers, gave an online lecture about Here services in the field of tourism.   The hackathon "HackGround" was held along two tracks: "Digitalization of the tourism industry of the North Caucasus Federal District" and "Tourist routes and services" (new locations, tourist places and points of attraction) and ended with the defense of projects in which the guys presented their most effective and efficient options for solving the assigned tasks ...   By the decision of the competent jury, the 3rd place in the competition in the track "Digitalization of the tourism industry of the North Caucasus Federal District" was taken by the team "IT-tourist" of KBSU as part of the 2nd year master's student of the direction "Informatics and Computer Engineering" Ilyas Niyazov; 2 nd year master's student of the direction "Informatics and Computer Engineering" Samat Zhabelova; 4th year student of the direction "Informatics and Computer Engineering" Eduard Amshokov; 2 nd year master's student of the direction "Tourism" Ilyas Ulbashev; Head of the Service and Tourism Laboratory of the Department of Economics and Management in Tourism Narin Stas. 2nd place went to the team "Engineers" of SKFU, 1st place was taken by the team of SOGU.   In the track "Tourist routes and services" 3rd place - "Stavlove" NCFU, 2nd place - KCGU, 1st place - "Brain stone" SSAU.   We congratulate the team "IT-tourist" of KBSU and wish them new victories and success.
