Release date: 17.11.2022

A pleasant gift for students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov was a festive concert in honor of the International Students’ Day, prepared by the department for youth policy and educational work of the university. November 17 is a special date for KBSU, on this day 31 years ago, in 1991, a student council was opened at the university. Note that KBSU was the second university in Russia after Moscow State University, where student activists created their own structure.

Over the years of its existence, several generations of talented, active, tireless, enterprising, cheerful and inquisitive children have passed through the KBSU Student Council. And today this organization is a home for those who want to prove themselves in social activities aimed at solving issues relevant to students. In a short video, the deputy chairman of the KBSU Student Council, Dayana Lieva, collected all the most interesting things about the bright everyday life of university activists. «Student spring», «August», «Mr. KBSU», «Miss KBSU», «Vivat, student» — these words are well known among the students of KBSU and all thanks to the tireless work of the members of the student council.

Happy birthday, the native student council and all the students involved in the International Day were congratulated by the first-year students of the Social and Humanitarian Institute of KBSU with an incendiary dance. Students of the Faculty of Medicine Asker Nebezhev and Inara Gataova performed a strict, restrained, but very beautiful «Kafu». Not a single concert is complete without the performance of foreign students. The audience really liked the song of Indian student Bhushana Verma.

The winner of the festival «Student Spring — 2022» Vice-Mr. KBSU Asker Nebezhev set the hall on fire with a virtuoso solo on the accordion. And what a soulful song was performed by a student of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education and Sports Education Leyla Zhangurazova and a student of the Social and Humanitarian Institute Magomed Chemaev!

The audience did not skimp on applause, generously bestowing them on each participant in the concert. By tradition, at the end of the festive evening, everyone who came on stage, in unison, sang the Anthem of the KBSU in unison. Let self-realization become a real goal for you, which you will definitely achieve, but then again and again you will open new horizons for yourself. And the KBSU Student Council will always be there to accompany you on this path! — sounded from the stage wishes on behalf of the activists of the student council addressed to all students of KBSU.
