Information security teacher of the year works at KBSU
The results of the All-Russian competition «Infoforum — New Generation», held jointly with the Federal Educational and Methodological Association of Russian Universities in the field of information security, have been summed up. Five laureates from all over Russia were chosen in the nomination «Teacher of the Year». Among them was a senior lecturer at the Department of Computer Technologies and Information Security of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov Saniyat Arvanova.
It should be noted that Saniyat Mukhamedovna Arvanova is a senior lecturer at the Department of Computer Technologies and Information Security of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies, has been working at KBSU for 10 years. He teaches such disciplines as «Mathematical foundations of financial and economic security»; «Cryptographic methods of information protection»; «Theoretical foundations of cryptology»; «Information theory». Research interests — information security of personal data processing. The «Infoforum — New Generation» competition has been specially established since 2008 to encourage students, educational centers and young professionals working in the field of information security.
According to Saniyat Arvanova, the competitive selection took place in three stages: at the level of the university, the North Caucasus Federal District and at the all-Russian level. It was necessary to confirm their successes with relevant documents, providing the results of work with students, joint publications with students, personal publications, methodological developments, information on advanced training courses.
“According to the requirements of the competition, each article was estimated at 0.5 points. Therefore, I wrote out more significant, published by the Higher Attestation Commission, Scopus for 3 years. Scored the maximum score, even more than possible (10 points). It was also possible to include registered certificates of computer programs, I have more than 12 such certificates for the last 3 years. In addition, I provided data on Olympiad students who were preparing under my supervision. Also, information about the advanced training courses on information security for the last three years was attached. I completed 3 information security retraining courses and about 7 advanced training courses. It was very nice to know that according to the results of the competition, I won the nomination “Teacher of the Year” in the North Caucasus Federal District,” commented Saniyat Arvanova. We congratulate Saniyat Mukhamedovna on her victory in the All-Russian competition «Infoforum — New Generation» and wish her new achievements and success in her professional activities.
