Release date: 28.05.2026

Alsu Turebaeva, a young entrepreneur from Orenburg and a federal expert for the «Rosmolodezh. Business» project, gave an educational lecture on financial literacy to college students at Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov.

A 23-year-old graduate of OSU’s Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, she runs a company specializing in design and construction work and organizes wholesale deliveries of agricultural products throughout Russia. She also runs a jewelry business, successfully combining her own business with active public and expert work in the field of youth entrepreneurship.

She mentors aspiring entrepreneurs and, through educational projects aimed at supporting startups, shares her knowledge of grant support and financial instruments at various venues, including in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District.

The businesswoman told KBSU students how to turn their academic projects into real business initiatives, explained how to obtain grants to start their own businesses, and gave practical recommendations on effective budget planning and identifying and managing economic risks.

The discussion took the form of a lively dialogue, with case studies. The businesswoman encouraged the students not to be afraid to start their own businesses, emphasizing that success is possible even with small projects.

«I know young people who have become successful entrepreneurs at just 18 years old. For example, my friend started by growing microgreens and selling her harvest to wholesalers. Today, she supplies her products to large chain stores.
Personally, I started with small tenders worth 200,000-300,000 rubles, and now I organize wholesale deliveries of agricultural products to schools and kindergartens across the country.

Currently, the most favorable conditions for business development are being created, especially for young people. The state actively supports young entrepreneurs by providing grants and other support tools. The main thing is to have a clear goal, be persistent, and not be afraid to take risks,” noted Alsu Turebaeva.

Alsu Turebaeva’s story is an excellent example of how hard work and a proactive approach to life can help you achieve great heights.

The lecture on financial literacy and cybersecurity was held at the initiative of the Kabardino-Balkarian Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Maysky Municipal District Administration.
