Happy New Year 2023! Congratulations to Yuri Altudov, acting Rector of KBSU

Dear veterans, teachers, staff and students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov!

Please accept our warmest, sincere congratulations on the upcoming 2023! The past year has not been easy. We set ambitious goals and achieved them, sincerely rejoiced at the successes in educational, scientific, cultural and social activities and overcame difficulties together. Thanks to a highly professional team of specialists, our university successfully responded to the current challenges of the time, participated in the development of import-substituting technologies in order to transfer them and ensure Russia’s technological sovereignty. Projects are successfully implemented and developed within the framework of the program of strategic academic leadership «Priority 2030».

New scientific centers and youth laboratories have been created. Continuing to work in the areas traditional for our university, our scientists have strengthened their positions in the field of new materials, artificial intelligence, ecology, medicine, and genetics. Students, showing a civic position, are increasingly involved in the agenda of the social and economic development of Kabardino-Balkaria, enthusiastically develop start-ups in the field of technological entrepreneurship, participate in scientific, educational, creative, sports and social projects, including the volunteer movement.

We are proud of the veterans who laid the foundation for the modern well-being of the university and pass on their professional experience to grateful colleagues. We have high hopes for active, talented students — young people from most of the subjects of the Russian Federation and 45 countries of the world. The university continues successful cooperation with leading academic and scientific organizations. Supporting the decision of the country’s leadership, it interacts with the Luhansk State Pedagogical University at various levels. KBSU maintains the status of one of the leaders among the universities of the North Caucasus Federal District, is included in the top 100 universities in Russia, is positioned as a driver of advanced sustainable development of the region and positive changes in society.
