«We are leaders» — under this name on May 30 in the Kabardino-Balkar State University. H.M. Berbekov kicked off a training seminar for student activists of the structural units of the university.

Noting that self-management is one of the priority activities in the field of educational work, the head of the department for youth policy and educational work of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University Azamat Lyuyev sent word to the forum participants: «It is for you to determine tomorrow the future not only of KBSU, but of the entire republic. Dare, go ahead, be active, do not be afraid to make a mistake. Let this training seminar help to find new friends, get practical experience that will help you in later life, including in building up a future career. »

Within a few days, thematic classes for activists will be held under the guidance of experienced mentors in five areas: student self-government for chairmen of student councils; culture and creativity; sports and health, leaders of volunteer organizations; science and innovation.

Student Council of KBSU organized coaching to activate the work of bodies of student government, identify and develop leadership qualities of representatives of the student.

And the result of the training seminar will be a new project «Mentors», which will be implemented from September 2018 and imply the transfer of acquired knowledge of skills from experienced members of the asset — to beginners, helping freshmen in adapting to student life and involving them in public events of the university.
