Freelancer of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, radio host of the VTK «Kabardino-Balkaria» Elena Beslaneeva, who covers the activities of the university on the republican radio at a frequency of 99.5 FM, was awarded the award of the Head of the KBR in the nomination «Best Radio Project».

— I feel like an athlete who won first place. At work, I often asked the champions if five minutes of triumph on the podium were worth giving up a lot, working to a bloody sweat, and they all answered as one: “Yes, that means we worked for a reason.” The same thing happened to me. Elena has a lot of radio programs of various genres, including Frank Talk, where they discuss political issues, the implementation of national projects — everything that is on the agenda.

– I am an ambassador of the grant program of Rosmolodezh, I have been involved in youth policy for many years, and, of course, grant support for youth was a priority for me. Elena Beslaneeva is also the author of the Miracle Code project. In different locations of city squares and parks, you can see signs with QR codes, using which, using phones, you can get to Internet pages with fairy tales in Russian, Kabardian and Balkarian languages. Thanks to this project, she became the ambassador of the Rosmolodezh grant program.

– There are 30 fairy tales in the project. Each tablet leads to three tales. The project turned out to be quite time-consuming and emotionally costly for me. It’s a shame that the plates are often broken. Elena came into the profession by accident, although all her life she dreamed of being a radio host. I listened to mischievous programs with greetings and congratulations and said: I want to do the same.

– I worked in another area, in another region. And my friend, who works on the radio, offered to return to the republic and audition. I was afraid that my «crystal dream» would collapse, because I did not know how to do everything that «radio workers» can do. But he persuaded me to come to the audition. I left a fairly successful and well-paid job in another region and arrived the next day. I was given a few trial assignments and then offered a job. I was 21 years old, and I did not really understand what I wanted and who I wanted to work on the radio. This, probably, helped me to be realized in the profession. The desire to learn helped and helps to this day. Elena is a multiple winner of all-Russian competitions, her projects became the first in Russia. Last year, she took second place in podcasting in the ONF. It is important for her to be in demand not only in the region, but also at the federal level.

— People are a storehouse of all the most interesting things. If I see that a person is interesting, if he is lit up, I want everyone to see how wonderful he is. It is interesting for me to communicate with each person, because everyone has their own story. I always ask my heroes what advice they can give, and wise words come to me at the right time. I love people, they are cool, incredible, talented, you can always learn something from them.

Elena has been in the profession for nine years, and journalism is what shaped her as a person.
