Discussing the development prospects

On March 17, vice-rector of Tula State University for Research Mikhail Sergeevich Vorotilin and Head of the Laboratory «Technologies of Polymer and Composite Materials» Svetlana Yurievna Hashirova took part in a meeting of the Council of the Tula region for the provision of grants in the form of subsidies to educational institutions of higher education for scientific research. Thanks to the victory of the Tula State University in the competition of mega-grants together with the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, a laboratory for the technology of polymeric materials and composites was created. Its employees under the leadership of the Honored Scientist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, doctor of Chemical Sciences, acting vice-rector of KBSU named after H.M. Berbekov on the research work of Svetlana Yurievna Hashirova are developing a highly efficient import-substituting technology for the production of high-tech polyetherketonketon with a long service life.

In 2023, the staff of the new laboratory will have the opportunity to attend lectures by leading scientists from the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University, the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, KBSU named after H.M. Berbekov on the subject of composite materials, improve their skills in additional educational programs, undergo an internship at the Center for advanced materials and additive technologies of KBSU named after H.M. Berbekov, to master new laboratory and experimental equipment.
