Dear applicants! What you need to be done before July 25th?

Release date: 24.07.2023

July 25 — this date is determined at the federal level in Russia in accordance with the procedure for admission to study in undergraduate and specialist programs — Timur Tabishev, head of the admission organization department, executive secretary of the KBSU Admissions Committee, informed KBSU applicants about this.

All universities complete the acceptance of documents from applicants for bachelor’s and specialist’s programs on a budgetary basis on July 25. Before this date, you need to submit all the necessary documents, prioritize the applications, make sure that the application has been submitted correctly.

The only deviation is the period when the original certificate, or diploma, or other document on education can be accepted, according to which people enter at the priority stage of enrollment — this is a target quota, a special quota, their acceptance of originals ends on July 28 — this is also one important reference date. And on August 3, the deadline for receiving original documents for the main budget ends. Here are three dates to remember,

— Tabishev said.

More than 6,300 applicants are registered in the information system of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, which is 152 more than last year. According to the results of the Unified State Exam, about 3,000 applicants participate in the competition, the rest are people who have graduated from college or people who have higher education and are applying for undergraduate and specialist programs for the second time. Also, the head of the reception organization department of KBSU explained:

Compared to last year, the figures are approximately commensurate, they correlate with each other. The only thing I want to note is that for a separate quota, as we called it last year, a special quota, we have a larger influx today — we have registered 35 applicants from among persons who are either participants in a special operation or children of military personnel who participate or took part in a special military operation. Until the 25th, they still have the right to convey this certificate of belonging to this category of persons.

This year we can accept the children of health workers who died during the pandemic, but to date we have not recorded a single applicant in this category.

According to the dynamics of filing applications, there is some revival, more interest of our applicants in submitting documents both electronically and in person. This year we recorded a three-year record — we accepted 556 applicants per day. For bachelor’s and specialist’s degrees, it is possible to submit applications and documents through public services, a super service for enrolling in a university online, now we record more than 3.5 thousand applicants who have applied for these levels, of which a third are people who applied through a super service. I think that this is a big figure for our region. When we started accepting documents electronically, we recorded that about 25 — 28% of applications are submitted through a super service, and today I already record that 33% of applications are received online.

We already see that the norm of mandatory use of superservice by all universities that will accept higher education programs at the specialist’s bachelor’s degree levels is being legislatively fixed, and we are ready for this. In the age of digitalization, it seems to me that we have been moving towards this, and we will finally come to this.

In any case, our university is 100% ready for both the personal submission format and the electronic format!

I want to wish our applicants to make the right choice, it is very difficult in fact, each of them will see both the competitive list and the ranked list so that they do not make a mistake in their choice and go exactly where they wanted, with what they would like to connect their fate.

Keep track of your competitive lists, they are on the official websites of universities, correctly set your priorities, you only have a few days left to make the right choice. Good luck to you!
