Competitions for young IT-specialists were held at KBSU

About 70 students of the 8th-10th grades of schools in the republic, whose favorite school subject is Computer Science, measured their knowledge in the programming olympiad, held at the College of Information Technologies of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov March 3, 2023. As noted by one of the organizers of the Olympiad, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, deputy. Elena Piskunova, director for scientific and methodological work in the college:

“The Olympiad is held in order to attract talented applicants to the college and university. Only those who know well the basics of algorithmization, programming in a high-level language, methods of debugging and testing programs written in a high-level language, will be able to successfully cope with the tasks».

Within two and a half hours, the guys had to answer 20 test questions and solve 5 practical problems. The winners will be awarded certificates and valuable prizes. The results and photos will be posted on the KBSU website in the «Olympics and Competitions» section.

On March 6, 2023, at 15.00 in the building of the Social and Humanitarian Institute of the KBSU, an open Olympiad on financial literacy for students in grades 9-11 will be held.
