Building a Talent Pool and New Educational Horizons: KBSU Participated in a Meeting of Teachers in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic

In anticipation of the new academic year, Kristina Lopatina, Director of the Career Development Center at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov (KBSU), participated in key regional events—the August meeting of teachers and the «Teach! Manage!» competition. The events, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, focused on developing an effective talent pool and integrating modern educational methods into the educational process.

The central theme of the teachers’ meeting in Kabardino-Balkaria was defining strategic vectors for the development of regional education in the context of achieving national goals. Particular attention was paid to working with young people and the educational process. At a specialized section for education advisers, Kristina Lopatina, together with the university’s key partner, Alina Ashkhotova, Director of the regional branch of the Znanie Society, held an important expert session.

The speakers and their colleagues discussed in detail the algorithms for the free and effective integration of the Znanie Society’s resources in the region’s schools and colleges, and also shared recommendations for submitting applications for the prestigious Znanie.Award competition.

Another important area of ​​work was the assessment and support of pedagogical leaders. The Director of the KBSU Career Development Center, the URC, joined the jury of the republican competition, «We Teach! We Manage!», whose main goal is to create an effective talent pool for the republic’s education system.

Anzhela Pankseeva, a partner of the KBSU Career Development Center and an ambassador of the URC, an expert practitioner in talent management, and a lecturer for the Znanie Society, made a significant contribution to the competition. She conducted one of the key stages of the competition, assessing the participants’ management and leadership competencies.
