3rd year student of the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov, the future mathematician Nurmukhamed Etuev is implementing an educational project aimed at solving the problems of legal education of schoolchildren and students of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

As the author of the project said, such an idea appeared when he started working as a specialist in the department of organizational work and public relations of the Union “Association of Trade Union Organizations of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic”.

«Working in the Trade Union of our republic, I realized that young people do not know their rights, they are generally not aware of the simplest legal norms,» — comments Nurmukhamed.

Nurmukhamed presented his project in absentia at the Mashuk forum in 2020. His idea was highly appreciated and a grant for implementation in the amount of 240 thousand rubles.

«The main goal of the Street Law project is to increase the level of legal literacy of young citizens of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic aged 14 to 30,» — notes a university student. According to him, the relevance of legal education is obvious — it is due to the current state of all spheres of public life.

«The implementation of the project involves the solution of such significant tasks as increasing the level of legal literacy, legal awareness and legal culture of students of educational organizations, increasing the interest of young people in the study of law and, of course, the development of creative thinking,» — says Nurmukhamed.

The project is in full swing. It is planned that about 350 people will learn legal literacy. Anyone wishing to go through the educational program can sign up through Instagram page street_law_07.
